Beds were amazingly comfortable and the spa bath was the best I have ever seen and enjoyed it totally...

We travelled as two couples all over tasmania and recently stayed in red briars villa, very nice comfortable place , very friendly overly helpful staff , they would do anything to make stay more pleasant ...

Very disorganised host . Messy reception area as well as the shambolic adjoining owners kitchen / sitting area . Not a great first impression . Stay there if there's no other option . We left Richmond because of it and continued our Tasmanian journey .

Cooking facilities were just enough for a short stay and couches were very comfortable...very close to an amazing walk along main st shops ... I only gave 3 stars because it was the coldest place we have ever stayed in, yes there is reverse cycle heating in lounge which sort of worked but it didn't do anything to warm up downstairs bedroom where my partners parents stated was icy cold , upstairs had a reverse cycle unit but remote was missing and we tried remote from unit downstairs but didn't work... and bathrooms upstairs and downstairs were fully tiled and no heating and way to cold to shower in first thing in morning and to go to toilet in middle of night was absolutely freezing... also there was no extra blankets in either room which would of made it so much warmer to sleep ..some warmth in the place and I would of gave 5/5 stars easily
